Thank you for visiting UC San Diego’s new Library Channel, brought to you by the UC San Diego Library.

This new channel serves as a conduit to the Library’s many outreach activities and events, ranging from author talks, faculty lectures, and special events, to concerts, film screenings, and behind-the-scenes interviews with students, librarians, and friends and supporters. We will be giving you a birds-eye view of some of our most treasured special collections and archives, including: our Dr. Seuss Collection, which comprises the original papers, illustrations, correspondence, and other materials of Theodor Seuss Geisel, known as Dr. Seuss; our American Institute of Wine and Food Culinary Collection, our Hill Collection of Pacific Voyages, and so many others.

We also will keep you abreast of the many digital innovations and transitions that are dramatically transforming today’s Library, allowing you to access a wealth of materials and images with the click of a mouse. I hope you will tune in regularly. As Dr. Seuss said: “Oh, the places you’ll go!”

Best,
