A team of researchers at the University of California, Merced, has redesigned luminescent solar concentrators to be more efficient at sending sunlight to solar cells. Professor Sayantani Ghosh is developing a solar concentrator that could allow solar panels to be used in new places, such as on the windows of cars and buildings. (#23882)
