By 2020, the demand on the SENTRI program that allows expedited entry into the US for pre-approved travelers will be so intense that a new, more efficient border crossing system will be needed. Panelists convened by the Smart Border Coalition present a synopsis of their report, "Envision 2020: The Future of the Border Starts Here" that details potential high-tech solutions aimed at drastically reducing congestion at the border. Among those featured are Matt Newsome of Cubic Transportation Systems, UC San Diego's Ramesh Rao and Truong Nguyen, Pete Flores of US Customs and Border Protection, Rodulfo Figueroa of INAMI Mexico Migration, and Jorge Sosa Lopez of CETYS Universidad.
