A human rights activist, journalist and politician, she was dubbed the "Mother of the Revolution" for her key role in the Arab Spring, during which she was imprisoned numerous times. An advocate for education, social equality and responsible investment as means to counteract poverty and oppression, Karman offers hopeful solutions to uphold the democratic spirit across the globe.
