Researchers from UC Davis, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Mars, Incorporated have made a remarkable discovery: an indigenous variety of Mexican corn that can also fix nitrogen from the atmosphere, instead of requiring synthetic fertilizers. (#34104)
