Kenneth L. Karst, is a renowned professor of constitutional law and fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is the David G. Price and Dallas P. Price Professor of Law Emeritus at UCLA, where he has taught constitutional law since 1965. The principles and values of equality are the central focus of his work. He won the University's Distinguished Teaching Award in 1980, the School of Law's Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1994, and has been elected twice by graduating classes as Professor of the Year.
