Michael Ignatieff is an internationally renowned, London-based journalist whose extensive coverage of the Balkans has appeared frequently in The New Yorker. He is the author of Blood and Belonging, the prize-winning TV series and book on nationalism. In his book Virtual War: Kosovo and Beyond, and in this lecture, he discusses modern combat including virtual and cyber war and emerging ethical concerns about high-tech military action. (#5554)
