Onward California: Reaching Out, Beyond Earth

UC Davis geology professor Dawn Sumner uses virtual reality 3-D images to walk around the surface of Earth and Mars. This new technology enables the study rocks, particularly the much older ones on the Mars, which can offer clues to the origins of the red planet and our own planet. (#25181)
