Joey Engelberg explains how a social media platform for investors called StockTwits can measure investor sentiment during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also presents evidence that pre-Covid political views are affecting the ways investors are processing information about the pandemic, with Democrat investors holding more pessimistic market expectations during the crisis than Republican investors.
