The long "marriage" of the U.S. and the U.N. is rocky. The partnership is strained by differences of view on many issues-war and peace, human rights and health, army control and terrorism. How do we reestablish the constructive, committed, active leadership role the U.S. played for decades? What's at stake if we don't?
